Wax, Icarus, Mercury is an original, autobiographical, and freeform comic and poem. It reflects on the ideas of being a perfectionist, being a ‘mom’ or ‘therapist’ friend, and attempting to save others at your own expense. While somewhat sad and melodramatic, it’s honest and raw about the feelings that come with these experiences.
The zine contains 24 pages. Illustrated in Photoshop. Wax, Icarus, Mercury is approx. 5.5” in width and 7.5" in height (when closed).
This zine is hand made, meaning some minor differences between copies may occur.
MATERIALS: The cover consists of a red cardstock with a white cardstock liner for the inside, the title is a raised silver vinyl that is applied by hand, and the comic is printed on a premium matte paper. Bound using staples.
